Braveheart

The light in this scene is apparently very simple but it is very strong in composition. The movie is “Braveheart”.
The movie recreates  the medieval era, therefore,  the source of that light is supposed to be the moon.  In one hand, that light is very bright for being the moon, and in that era (middle age) there were not available powerful reflectors, therefore this type of lighting was set only for composition and not to emulate the moon light.  Beside that, the composition is interesting. many elements creates this scene. First, the silhouettes of the characters, trees and their branches are well defined. Second, the grass on the ground has a interesting glowing, apparently the ground was wet for this scene. Finally, it is nice the quantity of colors that interact in this composition such as green, blue and black.
